One system, many opportunities: The Frauscher Point Control System will ensure safe and reliable control, monitoring, and maintenance of turnouts. The system will be built on the Frauscher Advanced Platform FAdP, aligning with standardized interfaces and software protocols. Due to its high flexibility, the system will easily connect to various switch machines, including those with a 4-wire interface. Our Point Control System will also include comprehensive condition monitoring features such as motor current recording, to enhance operational reliability.

FAdP Point Control will be the vital, application-specific part of the Frauscher Point Control System, ensuring reliable control and monitoring of switches. Frauscher Connect is a versatile connection manager for all Frauscher systems that will enable secure communication between the switch machine and signaling systems via open networks.
It's quite simple: the more data that is available about the condition of a switch machine and a turnout, the more efficiently it can be maintained. This saves time and costs.
The Frauscher Point Control System will not only provide all the essential data required to monitor and control switches, but also register changes in currents, cycle times, voltages and phase shifts. Based on this information, potential issues within the switch machine can be precisely identified.
Frauscher Insights can also be used to plan and document maintenance: When should maintenance personnel be on track, and which tools are required? These questions, along with others, are more effectively answered with data.
Safety and security are of paramount importance for railway operations. Due to advanced security measures, our Point Control System can be used in category 3 networks according to EN50159. Its Ethernet-based communication reduces the need for extensive cabling, which lowers both installation and maintenance costs, and streamlines the entire process.
