The technology of the RSR110 is based on Frauscher's safety-relevant wheel sensors and has been extensively tested and proven. The wheel sensor is particularly reliable and, thanks to its robust design, highly resistant to extreme environmental influences or adverse track-related conditions such as flooding, snow, ice, extreme temperatures and rusty rails.
As a wheel sensor with an analogue interface, the RSR110 can be easily and seamlessly integrated into any electronic system. This function enables system integrators to customise the evaluation of the information to meet individual requirements. The Frauscher Wheel Sensor Signal Converter (WSC) can be used to digitalise the analogue signal.
The Frauscher Track Vacancy System FTVS is an axle counting system that is suitable for a variety of operational support applications and can be seamlessly integrated into existing systems. As part of FTVS, the Wheel Sensor RSR110 is used on the track for the purposes of wheel detection.
The RSR110 is mounted quickly and without drilling using a rail claw. The wheel sensor is also equipped with a pluggable sensor cable which eliminates the need for complex wiring and time-consuming installation processes, making it particularly low-maintenance.
