Highly available, flexible and scalable, Frauscher axle counting systems combine reliable wheel sensors and innovative evaluation boards with a range of interfaces. This enables operators and system integrators to realize cost effective and advanced track vacancy detection, with each system tailored to their individual needs.

Fast integration: Modern software and open, universal hardware interfaces enable quick and efficient integration into existing and newly installed systems. Frauscher wheel sensors are IP68-certified and therefore waterproof and dustproof, unaffected by extreme temperatures. The indoor equipment includes powerful evaluation boards that receive the wheel sensor signals, generate valuable data, and accurately count axles that traverse the wheel sensors. 

More than just track vacancy detection: Frauscher axle counting systems also provide information such as free/occupied status (SIL 4), direction (SIL 4), number of axles, speed, wheel diameter and diagnostic data, all without additional equipment. This information provides operators and integrators with valuable insights into how efficiently their systems are running.
