FAdT integrates an IO-EXB card, allowing for the connection of any input or output device for applications up to SIL 4. It supports ethernet-based transmission for a high-speed and reliable data exchange, with communication based on Frauscher's proprietary protocol. This enables seamless data transfer between stations, or from stations to higher-ranking systems.

In addition to its bidirectionality, the modularity and scalability of the FAdT empowers railway operators with greater flexibility.
