The Frauscher US team is excited to participate in Railway Interchange 2025 in Indianapolis from 20-22 May! You will find us at booth 1167, where we will showcase our solutions in the area of train detection, data transmission and lifecycle services.
Highlights will include the Frauscher Advanced Counter FAdC®, an axle counting solution that is utilised in numerous projects and applications worldwide. The FAdC® features a range of benefits such as a modular architecture, low maintenance requirements, high reliability, support for various software interfaces, and much more. The FAdC® works with our Wheel Sensor RSR180, ensuring reliable and fail-safe wheel detection with a CENELEC SIL 4 safety rating, for a wide array of applications
For your non-vital axle counting applications, the Frauscher Track Vacancy System FTVS will also be highlighted. The FTVS is a simple and cost-effective solution that is ideal for less safety critical applications such as switch protection in yards. The Wheel Sensor RSR110 is a key component of the FTVS system with a space-saving design, quick installation and easy integration into higher-ranking systems. Equally important is the robustness and reliability of the RSR110 in harsh conditions often present in yards such as standing water, rusty rails and deteriorated ballast.
The Frauscher Advanced Data Transmission FAdT will also be featured at the event. The FAdT represents a versatile data transmission solution that facilitates the exchange of any digital input-output data between different stations, able to support both vital and non-vital applications.
Digitalisation plays a crucial role in advancing railway technology, and our innovative solutions harness its potential to enhance safety, streamline operations, and boost efficiency. To this end we will demonstrate Frauscher Insights—a cloud-based platform that unlocks greater value from operational data, enabling advanced diagnostics and proactive maintenance.
