Highly available, flexible and scalable: Frauscher axle counting systems combine reliable wheel sensors and innovative evaluation boards with a range of interfaces. This enables railway operators and system integrators to realise cost-effective track vacancy detection systems that can do more than that - tailored to their needs.

Fast integration: Modern software and open, universal hardware interfaces enable quick and efficient integration into existing and newly installed systems. On the track, the Frauscher wheel sensors are IP68 certified and therefore waterproof - they are also insensitive to extreme temperatures. In the indoor area, powerful evaluation boards receive the wheel sensor signals to generate valuable data and count the axles running over a sensor. 

More than just track vacancy detection: Frauscher axle counting systems also provide information such as free/occupied (SIL 4), direction (SIL 4), number of axles, speed, wheel diameter and diagnostic data with little additional effort. On this basis, railway operators and system integrators gain valuable insights and can sustainably optimise railway operations.
