The Engineer will undertake Frauscher UK engineering activities and will be expected to be a lead on small to medium-sized projects in the delivery phase.
Responsibilities
▪ Assist with engineering activities to ensure compliance with customer requirements, applicable standards, specification, processes and procedures
▪ Lead internal & external meetings post-project award or order
▪ Manage and communicate engineering issues
▪ Identify and share best practices through continuous review and/or lessons learnt
▪ Where appropriate update process descriptions
▪ Produce technical reports to support project deliverables
▪ Provide technical support to other departments
▪ Be aware of the Quality Management System and understand the responsibilities towards it
Skills/Experience
▪ Report writing skills
▪ Strong communication skills
▪ Presentation skills
▪ Signal and railway engineering experience (desirable)
▪ Personal Track Safety AC DCCR
▪ Engineering Degree
Other Requirements
▪ Regular travel
▪ Occasional night shifts
▪ Flexible to work occasional weekends
